This week we have up Kinsey, Son of the Mask, White Noise and Team America: World Police; and yes I do realize the Tuesday was yesterday.

Son of the Mask is about a child that is conceived while the father is wearing ‘The Mask’. The movie may try to say is it related to the movie ‘The Mask’ with Jim Carrey but they have nothing to do with each other. Son of the Mask is just a bad movie. The idea for Son of the Mask would be much better as a one hour TV special. At first you will think the movie is going somewhere but at about 44 minutes into the movie all the jokes in the movie has have been used and you wondering when it will end.

White Noise is a movie that will leave you wondering what is going on and before your questions are answered the movie will end. I have yet to figure out what the shadowy figures are; yes they are literally shadowy figures. White Noise is suppose to be a horror movie but you will spend all your time trying to comprehend what is going on and who the people are you will not have time to be scarred. If you thought the Grudge was a bad horror movie, then be ready to be amazed by how bad they can really get.

Team America: World Police is the only movie I actually enjoyed of the four. Unlike the other three, Team America knows is a bad movie and just tries to provide a couple hours of entertainment. Team America is by the same people who brought to you South Park. In Team America, Trey Parker and Matt Stone attempt to push the limits to what marionettes can do on screen. The movie uses marionettes yet the theatrical version is still rated R and for a very good reason. You will be amazed by what can be done with marionettes. However I must warn you, if you start watching the movie expecting it to make sense or even be a real movie you will be disappointed so just sit back and enjoy it.

Kinsey is about Alfred Kinsey and what he had to go through while writing the Kinsey reports in the late 40’s early 50’s. This movie if anything will cause you to come to the realization of two things, first Kinsey was a freak and two after fifty years there is still things about sexuality that is still taboo today.
