I just finished watching Paint your wagon and it is now one of my new favorite movies. It has Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin who both cannot sing worth a damn doing musical numbers and Eastwood has something to say other than he is old, which also means he does not talk much in the movie.

They changed the script after Eastwood said he would do it, he tried to get out of doing the movie but he was forced to do it. One also has to wonder how Lee Marvin agreed to do the movie. He must have been just as drunk during the contract signing as he was during most of the movie.
